What is Storytime?

Storytime is a powerful interactive experience that invites us to share our personal stories and grow closer together. Therapeutic, but not therapy. Online or in person.

The Storytime experience is the source material of its broader vision, The Village; a storytelling and media platform and global peace initiative, that celebrates and uplifts our humanity as it weaves us all together. Stay tuned for more, as we grow.

Case study: Hearts of Ukraine

As the war raged (and still rages) in Ukraine, Storytime at Ukraine Now invited hundreds of global volunteers to come together. The result was unforgettable.

1. No matter what…
2. Everyone is willing to help.
3. We don’t have a choice.

why us, now?

In the face of a mental health pandemic, endless wars, the decline of democracy, and the Climate Emergency, our world is reeling with stress and unresolved trauma. Storytime offers hope for healing.

A powerful antidote to discrimination, division, isolation, and loneliness, Storytime helps to create and promote a regenerative culture of care and mutual aid. It is therapeutic, profound, and remarkably fun. We like to call it, transformative entertainment.

How it works

A story topic is offered in advance for participants to reflect on. At the gathering, guided by a talented, heart-centric facilitator, stories are told and woven together, a co-creation in celebration of our common humanity.

As we discover each other, something new arises – a universal understanding, an invitation to care, about ourselves and each other. Slowly, we emerge from the isolation of our bubbles, and are transformed.

Who we help

Storytime is an adaptive model for connection that we customize to suit the needs of each group, from communities, to leadership teams, to volunteers. The experience builds relationships, commitment, and team spirit.

Let’s discuss how we can adapt our powerful template to serve your people.

Storytime is a safe harbour for all travellers open to care, acceptance, warmth and connections. It is a meeting of souls exploring the best version of themselves. It is an inspiring example of how to improve communities in times of separation, conflicts, and search for reconciliation.
